Coach House offers investment in the specialist litigation funding sector, including commercial litigation, complex disputes and international arbitration cases.
Litigation funding involves a third party agreeing with a claimant to pay all
of the legal and other costs associated with the case in return for a success
fee, normally calculated as the higher of a multiple of the funding provided or
a percentage of the damages. The funds invest in a portfolio of litigation
cases, thereby providing diversification to mitigate against the binary nature
of investment outcomes.
Coach House partners with Therium Capital Management Ltd, one of the leading providers of third-party litigation funding in the UK. Therium source and carry out due diligence on investment opportunities for approval by the Coach House Investment Committee.

Coach House offers investment in the US consumer debt settlement sector. The Funds acquire a share in contracts to act for consumers in negotiation with creditors (“debt settlement contracts”). Specifically the Funds acquire, from debt settlement companies, the right to receive a percentage of the future fees earned from the contracts in exchange for an upfront payment. The debt settlement companies use the payment to fund costs incurred signing up consumers to the debt settlement programme.
